For all nature lovers, especially bird lovers, this area is ideal for watching the birds' lives, their nesting and caring for the young. Their observation is possible in the entire lake, thanks to a well-maintained path with observation posts within the ornithological reserve. Lake Vrana is one of the rare, pristine natural habitats of water birds. Within the reserve, throughout the year or occasionally there are 251 species of birds living, 13 of which are endangered. It is for this reason that their presence in this area is essential for their survival both at the Croatian and European and world levels.
